  • Received Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) awarded by the Anthropological Survey of India (Government of India), in 2001.
  • Received Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) awarded by the Anthropological Survey of India (Government of India), in 2005.
  • Received Young Scientist Award in the 91st Indian Science Congress in 2004 for pioneering research on “Adolescent Physical Growth Development and Nutrition”.

Doctoral Research:

Undertaken Ph.D. research project in Biological Anthropology on “Adolescent Physical Growth, Development and Nutritional Health Aspects” under Vidyasagar University, West Bengal.
