Experience

She is working since 21years. Her area of research is ‘Contribution of the Christian Missionaries towards the women of early 19th century Bengal’. Her published papers include The Serampore Baptists and the abolition of Sati, (published from the Institute of Historical Studies, Kolkata, 2001), Mary Ann Cooke O Bangladesher Narishiksha Ekti Samiksha (published in the Annual Journal of the Paschim BangaI tihas Snnsad in 2007).

Her research work in the project of Ford Foundation has been published in two volumes from the Institute of Historical Studies, Kolkata. She also presented papers in conferences and seminars. She is the Coordinator of IQAC and NAAC, APC College.
