The College Central Library, Departmental Library (hosting 720+ books of Chemistry at the advanced Level) and the College Network Resource Centre adequately cater to the basic academic requirements of the students.
The Department has a well equipped laboratory.
Besides the Central Library of the college, the students are being benefitted from the Departmental library for textbooks and reference books.
Students of the Department take part in various college activities magazine, wall magazine, social work and cultural activities.
In addition to normal teaching in Chemistry, there exists research ambience at the department. Teachers are involved in active research and supervision of students for project work included in the PG syllabus.
Apart from the classroom teaching, all the faculty members try to provide special guidance to the students whenever needed. Special attention is given to the students who are below average. They are also encouraged to undertake the career counselling course offered by the college.
