There is a very active Women's Cell in the college.Different issues related to girl students, their position in the society,health etc. are addressed by this unit. This unit have arranged manyseminars so far on issues like “Domestic Violence”, “Female Feticide” etc.

Equal Opportunity Centre:

The Equal Opportunity Centre, inassociation with theWomen’s Cell takes up various programmes such as “Legal Awareness”, “Thalassemia Awareness”, “Backward ClassWelfare” etc. that has direct relevance to our society and life.

The Women’s Cell and the Equal Opportunity Centre organize several programmes as a part of the extension activities of the College. Many eminent speakers, social workers, Government officials visit our college for this purpose. A list is given here.
